Estimate Price and Design Galaxy Z Fold 4 From Samsung

The August 10 launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is less than two weeks away, but as is the case with high-profile phone announcements, the phone has more or less completely leaked. In fact, two major leaks have now occurred more or less at the same time - one revealing a possible design and the other a possible price.

First, let's take a look at a possible design for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, courtesy of leaked renders shared by Evan Blass - a leaker with a proven track record - via 91Mobiles(opens in a new tab).

These appear to be official media renders showing the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 in three shades - black, beige, and some sort of grey-green.

You can see there's a triple-lens camera and a design that looks basically the same as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, which isn't surprising, as the leaks have suggested. In fact, we've seen previously leaked renders showing this design as well, so it might be accurate.

The leak also includes some renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, which look very similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 3, matching previously leaked renders. You can see a dual-lens camera here with a black stripe on the back, while the rest of the back is available in graphite, gold, blue, or purple.

Next we have prices. According to Korean site Naver(opens in a new tab), the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 starts at 1,998,700 won for 256GB of storage and 2,097,700 won for 512GB. We won't be bothered by the switch, as these prices are exactly the same as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 it launched, suggesting that other regions may be priced the same.

That means prices start at $1,799 and rise to $1,899 for 512GB of storage. It's worth noting that this is a slight departure from another recent leak that suggested prices would go up a bit, so we'll take it with a grain of salt.

This latest news suggests that the price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will increase slightly, starting at KRW 1,299,000 for the 256GB storage model and KRW 1,398,000 for the 512GB model.

While there's a slight price increase, if the leaks are true, you'll also get more boot storage, and the 256GB Z Flip 4 could switch for about the same price as the Z Flip 3's 256GB model -- only this time it might not be A cheaper 128GB version. That could mean a starting price of around $1,049 this year.
